As the summer event briefs are rolling in, we’re noticing a popular theme for 2023, luxury boho beach. The theme takes inspiration from luxury beach clubs around the world in destinations like Ibiza, Tulum, Bali & Mykonos. These beach clubs feature organic elements such as shells, rope, and bamboo, as well as rustic finishes with plenty of wood. The result is a bohemian yet sophisticated style, including neutral tones which are contrasted with modern white elements. They ooze a relaxed vibe where lounge furniture is surrounded by palm trees, tropical house beats, beautiful white sand beaches and turquoise waters.
So, if you’re dreaming of summer by the beach, you don’t need to travel far, we have everything you need to create a chic beach club…except the sea…and the sun.
Furniture
Wooden natural tones are key to this event theme so our rustic range with its wooden pallet base is the perfect match. All sofas come with white cushions as standard which can be seen in many of these boho-luxe beach clubs. Cube seats and benches come with white leatherette seat pads as standard, however you could opt for hessian seat pads to bring more of those natural textures into play.
New for this year is our white rustic range; much like our standard rustic range it is made from wooden pallets and finished to a high standard, however the wood is finished in white. The white rustic furniture gives such a cool & calming look to your boho beach party theme. Hessian seat pads would also look great and contrast well with our white rustic cube seats & benches.
We have various rustic coffee tables available to hire which we recommend hiring with wooden tops and bases. Our grazing tables are also a fab option for a more chilled out vibe and a great height for guests lounging on cushions, bean bags or Moroccan pouffes.
It wouldn’t be a beach club without a bar to serve drinks from so choose from our selection of rustic bars including bamboo, whitewash & 6ft pallet bars. Add bespoke signage or branding to your bar to take it to the next level. Complete the bar styling with our beach props detailed below.
Accessories
Soften the furniture with Moroccan pouffes and white fat boy bean bags placed on the floor around your furniture clusters. We recommend using our white & tan Moroccan pouffes to fit this particular boho style. Use textured white & tan cushions to add to the overall look and comfort, you could even include some of our peach patterned cushions for a little pop of colour.
We’ve recently just added some crochet/macrame parasols to our hire stock, so it’s perfect timing for this event theme to be on trend. Handmade in Bali, these beautiful cream parasols have hand carved wooden poles which are hand painted with gold detail. The parasols are handwoven to the highest quality.
Props
If you want to add to the theming through props without it being too novelty, then we have beach themed props that are still in-keeping with the chic, boho theme. These include giant clams, white starfish, sets of rocks and shells, bringing those organic elements mentioned earlier into the styling. We also have a huge selection of palm trees in different sizes and styles to set the scene of a tropical island setting.
Lighting
Strings of festoon lights outside with either white or black cable will add a coziness to your event when the sun starts to set. Even if your event is taking place inside, festoon lighting draped along the ceiling will transform your venue and really add to the ambience.
We have a range of rustic lamp shades made from natural materials such as rattan & bamboo that would look amazing hung at different heights above furniture clusters and in between festoon lightning.
