SAKURA AT SAKE NO HANA

Mayfair Japanese restaurant Sake no Hana, part of the Hakkasan group, celebrated the arrival of Spring by transforming the restaurant into a sakura cherry blossom garden.

Overhead we installed intertwining cherry blossom branches, falling petals, and blossom entrances so guests could dine under the blossoms just as they do in Japan. By night, lights twinkled within the blossom to create an intimate yozakura atmosphere, yozakura literally meaning ‘night sakura’.

One of the main features of the installation was an aerial cherry blossom archway in the entranceway of the restaurant.
