FESTIVALS OF THE WORLD
We returned to Clifford Chance in 2021 to once again transform their office building in Canary Wharf, however this time it was a Festival of the Worlds Theme.
Each area was based around a different festival. The foyer area was decorated with a Rio carnival theme in mind, an entrance arch was created using truss in which a colurful streamer & festoon canopy and disco balls were hung. Foliage including tropical leaves and flowers were wrapped around the truss, inkeeping with the theme. A kentia palm, disco ball, flamingo and zebra prop were placed at the base of the structure.
The Dia De Los Muertos area featured pallet bars with roofs which were decorated with sugar skulls, skeletons, butterflies, flowers and candles, kentia palm and a cactus.
The marquee area was dressed to a Diwali theme with vibrant radial ceiling drapes, fairy lights and hanging paper lanterns. Two canopy bougainvillea trees were used to frame the bar area. Low level Moroccan benches, Moroccan pouffes and Moroccan lanterns were also used throughout the marquee.
It was only appropriate that the stage area represented the most popular music festival in the world…Glastonbury! Deck chairs and fat boy bean bags were placed in front of the stage, whilst our 6ft light up letters spelt out ‘glasto’ alongside the stage. A mixture of foliage including wisteria and ivy was used to dress the stage trussing to add a rustic feel to it. Our rustic pallet furniture range with colourful seat pads was chosen for a seating area and also featured a ficus canopy tree.
